And let me tell you, this is week one and we all LOVE it!!!! We are rowing Boxcar Children and are having a blast!

I do have to say though it is funny how angry my kids get that they can't read chapter after chapter. They crack me up because they beg, but I deny. Their complaining quits when we go do a neat activity. I love how easy it is to pick it up and go.

    How is your week going??

They are sooo soo pleased with how week 1 has gone for them, too. And they said so, unsolicited.

Bailey started Boxcar this week and LOVES IT. It is really easy for me to add in subjects that we have always wanted to do but had no time.

Bailey plans on being a "Keeper of the Home" so while discussing cleanliness we read some of her Marmee Dear primer, learned about herbs for cleanlineess, and how to make homemade cleaners. We also used a Rosemary Gladstar book to learn about teas and tinctures for sleep.
It was a great week!!! We only school 4days a week so we are done until Monday.
