Default Go-along for How to Bake an Apple Pie...

I found this in by book stash this afternoon, and I'm including it in with my Apple Pie goodies. The name of the book is And Everything Nice the Story of Sugar, Spice, and Flavoring by Elizabeth Cooper. I bought mine at a library sale for a quarter. It could possibly be on hand at your local libraries.

It has a neat map in the front of where many spices are found in the world. The book has 11 chapters which describe where a particular spice/sugar/flavoring are found, and the background of how it came to America. There are also cute recipes in the end of the chapters for using the spice of that chapter. A really cute story book, and it looks like a good addition if you can find it.

Thanks for sharing! I tagged that at the library to remind me come September. We rowed this last year and are doing it again this year. I think we will do more with spices this go around so this will be perfect.
