    Default How is everyone doing?

This board has been kind of quiet this past week and I am just wondering how everyone is doing?

We had a great 4th of July celebration on Monday but I have been paying for it yesterday and today. That always happens. We spent the day at our local American Village. I was on my feet from 12 noon until about 8pm that night. For my Fibro, that's a long day to be walking about in the hot heat. I was hurting pretty bad by the time we got home Monday night. I pretty much walked in and collapsed into bed.

My pain levels in my legs and arms have been really high yesterday and today and it's hurting pretty bad to just get up and walk around. I knew it would though so nothing surprising. I always have a time of recuperating after a big day like that. I do miss the days when that wasn't the case. Yet, I am thankful that I can still spend a full day like that out with the family, even though it means not being able to function for a good portion of the week following.

Outside of my pain levels being really high right now, everything else is ok at the moment. My IBS isn't flaring up along with many of my other symptoms, and for that I am thankful. I really need to get groceries. We are out of everything right now but I am just not up to making the big monthly trip right now so we are winging it this week. Bryan brought home pizzas last night. I am hoping by the end of the week that I will feel well enough again to get out of the house.

    How is everyone else doing?

Fatigue seems to be going away on it's own! Still don't have any answers as to why the long period of time when I could barely stay awake. Very frustrating. I'll hear back about the sleep study, hopefully by next Tuesday or Wednesday.

So-so. My migraines seem to be out of whack lately which is frustrating. Dh and I decided to do a cleansing "diet" in order to see if we could locate the problem. Unfortunately it doesn't always help at first because the change to my normal diet can send things crazy.

We're also in to the winter rains and that can be a downfall for me. All though, we had a week of rain and I was fine. Yesterday afternoon was really rough, but it's the first one to be that bad since we started the whole cleanse thing.

Now, if I could get my knee to heal we'd be making progress!

I am having many more good days than bad.
My ears are a mess though, since I am trying all different things to try to clear them. I can't hear well and am sound sensitive. Makes for interesting days with teen boys and 3 dogs.

I had to tell another person that I no longer drive today and that always depresses me for a while. It makes me feel lessIYKWIM. People find it hard to believe that you are mentally and physically capable in all other areas even if you do not drive. It is a weird prejudice that I didn't know existed until I no longer got behind the wheel myself.

It has been too hot for me to power walk, so I went to the pool to swim laps for two days in a row, and it affected my arthritis very adversely. On top of that, the lack of activity from the pain is causing my blood sugar to shoot up and I am getting headaches. At this rate I will actually have to watch my DIET!
