Thread: Christmas Picture Books to Purchase?

Default Christmas Picture Books to Purchase?

Every year we buy a couple of new Christmas Picture Books to add to our collection. We have quite a few already which is why I am asking.

Soooo what are your "absolute must own" favorites?

By the way I just put 52 favorites on hold at the library!

    Thanks!

Oo, we have two that I absolutely adore.. they are all packed away at the moment in the Christmas box.

The one I'm thinking of most starts with creation and moves forward. The pictures in it are AMAZING. Oo, wait a minute I think I posted pictures and titles before. Let me peek.. Yes, I did! The book is called God's Precious Gift in A Manger. I purchased it form a local Christian book store, but I'm sure you can find it in the US.

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.

Has anyone mentioned "The Christmas Miracle of Johnathan Toomey" yet?

Not sure on the spelling of all that, but it's a very touching book!

We also like James Herriot's "The Christmas Day Kitten."
