    Good morning, Everyone!

I'm posting to the tune of the Macarena. My Gracie has on this skirt and has the musicbox turned on while she eats her oatmeal. Hey, you can't blame a girl for tryin' to get her groove on to make the morning a little bit better! (she knows reading comes after oatmeal)

I've already completed science with Jacob. and Emily is humming right along with her handwriting and spelling.

We will not have Jacob for very long today. Scott & he will be going on a campout with the scouts this weekend. So, it's a weekend with the GIRLS!!! They love this.

So, I'm hoping to get his 3R's and Easter study done before he's off on his adventure.

It would be really nice if I can get the back patio cleaned off and some cleaning done upstairs. Something. Anything up there would be a good thing. We'll see.

    Also...LaUnDrY....

    Have a stu-PEN-dous day, Girls!

Well I successfully got two ebooks (in pdf format) onto my Kindle app. Yay for me!!!

Math is going on only an 11yo girl is suspiciously missing from mathland...

I'm going to switch some laundry and see what the kitchen looks like since the duty was to have been done.

    Hot Breakfast....

April, breakfast is a moral dilemma for me. I don't like spending time on it because I always think my day needs a fast start to the real and important for the day.

However, prepared breakfast food is expensive and my kids eat a ton at breakfast.

So, it leaves me thinking that preparing it myself is the best scenario.

Until it comes to really doing it.

Then I am faced with the- I'd like to move on syndrome.

It's a real thing for me.

    Can you tell?

HEATHER did you see that today is Jim Trelease's birthday? Thought of you when I saw that.

We're home all day and catching up on laundry for as long as my dryer will hold out--hopefully for a few more loads since the repairman won't be back until Wednesday!

ETA: I scrolled down a little farther and saw the camera type. Also, has he thought about using some kind of watermark on his photos for copyright? I could easily download the photo to my computer. Just a thought.
    thanks, cindy
i'm not sure if he wants to do this as a career
but he's definitely very invested in photography
in fact, he's been out for the last hour and a half taking shots
    (e. got up and drove him today, usually he hikes or takes his bike)

i agree that he should have a watermark
i know he's been looking into that a bit
    (i'll remind him)

he recently had a few of his photographs printed out in different sizes
and he and e. are trying to figure out how best to mat/frame them
he's going to take them to a local starbucks to see about hanging them
(i asked a barista and she said he needs to come in and talk to the manager and show his photos, then the artists get put on a rotating list, they are able to hang their work for a 3-week period)

my men are cold cereal "breakfasters"
(except for e.'s saturday bagel brunch and sunday pancake brunch)

i am not a breakfast person
(although i love bacon and eggs! just not in the morning )

with a. around, i think cereal is probably our most expensive food item
he eats it all.day.long. and in.huge.quantities.

Well I should add that my daughter loathes cold cereal. Hate is not a strong enough word. She let's a lot roll, but if she has cold cereal too often in the morning, she melts.down.

and she has no musical skirts to make it better!

One hates eggs. They all love pancakes and waffles. I also like to get them protein and we have some dairy sensitivities here.

    It's a thing.

    Good Morning Ladies!

We've had snow/rain making crazy ice around here. So my good friend has called and said she won't be coming. So I'm not sure what we'll end up doing with our day.

School is about three quarters done.

I will attempt to go through, clean and organize the kids toys. I skipped this during OS because I really don't like this task. Hubcap is lost, so it seems like a good time to do it, all the kids are on board with getting rid of some toys since he is missing.
