    i've been familiarizing myself with my iPad

    so here's my first post on the d/c thread using it

    Today is my birthday! I plan to download a book and read it while kids play. Ignore the house. Make myself a cake and rent a couple of movies.

    Heather I get you on the breakfast thing. It was really an issue for me before we found oatmeal at Costco. Cereal is hard to find and really expensive here. We do get raisin bran from Costco but dd doesn't like raisins. I have to do much more cooking from scratch in Japan. At least it is better for me. Unlike April and Cindy, I usually wake up starving!

    Lisa, a musical skirt! I bet my dd would love that. She's the kind of girl that is always making up songs and sings throughout the day!

    Today has been the most low-energy day I've had in a LONG time! I didn't even actually do all of the few things that were on my list. Guess there's always tomorrow.
