Thread: camera suggestions?

    Question camera suggestions?

About 18 months ago we bought Belle a point-and-shoot digital for Christmas. We've more than gotten our money's worth out of it. She carries it everywhere, takes lots of photos with it.

Her photos aren't just snaps any more. She's practicing portraits, macro shots, landscapes, and more.

She'd like a new camera that has more manual capabilities, such as focus and f-Stop.

Right now she's starting on some photography unit studies. When she completes those, I'd like to be able to get her a new camera.

    Any (affordable) suggestions?

Do a search for "camera" , or maybe under my posts. Steve gave some great recommendations, and I ended up buying an older Canon rebel on ebay for a very good price!

I highly recommend doing it that way, before putting lots of money into a camera (especially for a younger person )

My hubby loves his Olympus tough waterproof, drop proof, easy to use. He has taken some really cool in the pool shots with it.

Wrong camera question. sorry...someone had asked about a waterproof...need to go find the right thread.
