Thread: Sunday DECLUTTERING!

  1. #1

    Default Sunday DECLUTTERING!

Today's Challenge: Pick up that thing/pile/task you keep walking by- today!

School Challenge: Prepare for a new week of school.

Inspiring Thought: Planning is not the thing (including fancy or non-fancy notebooking pages) DOING is the thing! (me)

    For me today:
    • breakfast early
    • pick up the few things that are out of place (not many)
    • dust
    • quick wipe down to the bathroom
    • kitchen tidy
    • church
    • lunch out
    • 4H table- E13 and I are working the 4H table at the Charlotte's Web production this afternoon
    • Charlotte's Web- at the theater as a whole family
    • drop E13 at youth group
    • head HOME!
    • pick up E at youth group
    • prepare for school this week- starting something new with the middle kids
    • prepare for co-op class

We'll be out all day today. Besides living out of town with the price of gas so high, we have a lot to do.

Also, some people are coming to see the house this afternoon.

There are 1000 people expected to be at the theater this afternoon. The show time is 3pm and they expect the line to be fully formed at 1pm . I'm hoping we can save seats- or something. I guess we'll be sitting in the back. At least the tickets will have been free!

    Have a great day!

Heather, You are so brave. At a crowd like that I'd be far too stressed to enjoy myself. I imagine this will get easier as my kids get older.

    My list for today
*really do need to make some plans for next year
*church (hopefully it goes better than last time I took the kids alone...)
    *bake cookies

    Have a wonderful day!

House is quiet once again. Seems like a theme this weekend. I feel guilty not having gone to church, but it was going to be just me and our church is 15 miles away ~ after the miles I logged last week (close to 600 ) I'm feeling in conservation mode!

DS11 has a soccer game about half an hour away, so DH took him, and DD7 chose to go along to play with her friend (another little sister). I think they were planning to look for still more trains along the way .

DD18 went to her own church.

And in another hour it will be time to make the trip up to camp to pick up DD15. If she completes her schoolwork this afternoon, I will still have one trip to church today to take her to youth group. I'm torn on that one. I want the work done. But I would SO be okay with following through on my threat not to take her if it wasn't done .

So... what will I do today?
    • Shower/Dress/Breakfast/Meds
    • Laundry (that would be yesterday's)
    • Tidy downstairs
    • Clean up kitchen mess
    • Update calendar
    • Pay bills
    • Catch up filing

In other words, all the things that were on my list yesterday that I never actually got to!

    Queen April!

So far TODAY I've been doing school thinking/planning/ordering for next year and we went out to lunch. CBD has a free shipping code on their facebook page that's good thru April 2.

I'm currently playing a card game with ds5, Too Many Monkeys, that came in his kids meal from Sonic. Cute game

I haven't been feeling well since Thursday. I gave quite a valiant effort to cough up a lung this am but failed. Lazy day.
